Tire Dressing

Im trying to find a good tire dressing and have narrowed it down to Chemical guys vrp, Poorboy bold n bright, and Optimum tire shine. I want somethine shiny and will last
 
Are you only interested in the 3 you've narrowed down to? If so, Optimum's offering is the most popular on AGO--Bold-n-Bright gets good reviews as well.
 
I would be interested in other products if they are a better product
 
My current is Eco Touch Tire Shine; it's a serious sleeper. I've had it for a year and barely made a dent. I find myself purposely using more than I need to try and make sure the bottle doesn't expire (if it actually expires) before I run out.

PERL is another dressing loved by many on AGO, it is def worth a look. It can be diluted for various applications.

Both of them are very cost-efficient.

Iv used CG VRP what drawer me to it was its waterproof and won't wash off until your ready to remove it good stuff thou.

I don't think it's possible for any one tire dressing
to meet all of those criteria, all at the same time.

I believe I still have a video, (that I'm pretty sure can be uploaded to my phone), wherein I was punting the last few bottles of any awful-shiny-scht!ck tire dressings that I had left over from the 1970's...out into the alley behind my house.

I'll go and see if I can find it. :D

Try Turtle Wax Endura Tire Shine Kit. Last up to a year.

Don't let the name fool you.. There is a big right up here on these forums

I love PERL.

If you want a product to last a long time look into tire coatings.
 
Yep Turtle Wax Coating is my first choice now. They say it lasts up to a year, that's pretty optimistic. But you can get months out of it, which is way longer than any other products. It's more expensive but not having to apply it everytime you wash the car (or just about) is a big plus.
 
My go to is Optibond at 1:1 sprayed on, if shiny is whhat u want do multiple layers. Imo perl is a bit xpensive.
 
Been using opti bond for some time now, and see no reason to change! Love the look and NO SLING.

I really like this product too, though I seriously doubt I'll see a year out of it.

Another dressing I really liked is Duragloss #253. It dries matte and I found a couple of coats to last 6~8 weeks.

I agree. For durability, ease of use Opti-Bond is it. Tried Carpro PERL, did not measure up tp my standards. I'm finding the Duragloss, Collinite and Optimum line is all that's needed.
 
Superdegreaser at 4:1, and a scrubbing brush, cloth wipedown then some D170 Hyper Dressing. Dial into your preference on shine. From 4:1 to 1:1.

May not last a yr, but it looks nicer than any other i've tried.
 
I use Poorboys Bold and Bright on all my details. It looks great.
