Tire Dressings....

Im almost out of my TW wet and black. Nice stuff suprisingly.

Not high gloss despite what the bottle says. More of a low sheen matte that lasts for several weeks.

I wanna try something with a little more shine this time around. Any recommendations?

I'm not sure how much shine you want but below are the products I use regularly and to me the BF Tire gel and the Poorboy's Bold n Bright give the most shine.

To my eye, these are listed from most shine to least shine (with one layer applied).

BlackFire Tire Gel
Poorboy's Bold n Bright
Adam's SVRT
Chemical Guys VRP
PERL

None of these are as glossy as the tire gels you'll buy at auto parts stores or Wally World. But they don't sling and last longer.

If Opti Bond slings, you are using too much. If anything Black Onyx is a slinger. Of course IMO.

Quite possible...today's application I used only three drops per tire. I'll see how that works. I never got any sling from the Onyx. Rain could have been a factor as well. We'll see how it works this week.

Poorboys World:Bold n Bright, I been known to use on interior also.

Chemical Guys G6

BnB is my most used tire dressing. It's inexpensive and looks great. I use it on our DD and my work van which both have large tires (that's why I use more of it). I'm about at the bottom of a 32oz bottle and will be ordering more. :dblthumb2:

I was using opti-bond and diluting 1:2. It has a nice mantle look, and it last 7-10 days if there is no rain.

I have switched to using megs endurance tire gel. it is very shinny for 3 days. then more mantle for another 7 days. you can get up to 3 solid weeks on this product. it washes off in the rain, also if you drive alot of miles it won't last. great product, good price, looks good on trim too

Opti-bond on personal. AM cool blue on mobile details. Joy dishwashing liquid back in the day (late 70's).

Poorboys Bold N' Bright is a bit shiny though and lasts about 2-3 weeks for me but the car only gets driven probably 5 times in that span.

Carpro PERL diluted 1:1 is awesome. Its not as shiny and lasts about 2-3 weeks and again with the car not being driven more then 5 times.

I have Black Onyx but I haven't used it yet. Ive heard nothing but good comments for this about this so far so hopefully Its the same for me.
