Hey guys I stumbled across a thread here about using leather cleaner to dress you tires, but the thread was closed. My question is did anyone officially try the leather conditioner idea and if so which one did you use and what we're the results. Thanks in advance for any insight

Quality leather cleaners dont make your leather "shiny". They clean and leave the leather surface looking clean. I cant imagine it lasting more than a few hours if not minutes on tires as far as whatever look they achieve, if any.

My suggestion, use a dedicated tire dressing thats designed specifically for tire rubber.

I believe Poorboy's Leather Stuff (cleaner/conditioner) can be used on plastics, leather, vinyl and rubber. If i was doing an expensive car i wouldn't put that on leather seats, i'd use a leather-only conditioner/cleaner.

I haven't tried leather conditioner as a tire dressing, but after reading that thread, I am 1.) curious what brand of leather conditioner is best (or if it even matters), and 2.) wanting to ask all the owners of cars at Pebble Beach what kind of dressing is on their car's tires.

Same thing crossed my mind. The entire the thread op was asked numerous times and he never answered what products he was using
