Sorry if this has been covered but I tried the search feature and couldn't find anything.

I'm a novice compared to most here but I like a clean car. I have a 2014 Toyota Venza.

When I clean my tires/wheels I use wolfgang auto bath with one of the flexible brushes sold here and a mitt (used just for tires of course) and then finish with the black Onyx.

I'm looking for advice on what products are best to properly clean tires and wheels. There are so many options - I have no idea which I should purchase. Thanks for the help!

The most cost effective products for cleaning tires and wheels is an all purpose cleaner such as Optimum Power Clean. You need an APC for general cleaning anyway so it is something you need to get at some point.

Best (IMO)
Tires: Tuf Shine tire cleaner
Wheels: Sonax Wheel Cleaner Plus

Better Value
Tires: Meguiars Super degreaser
Wheels: Optimum Power Clean

Over-the counter
Tires: Mother's foaming wheel and tire cleaner
Wheels: DUB Wheel Cleaner (by meguiars)

I cleaned mine deeply once, meaning I took the wheels off, did an iron and tar decontamination with T.R.I.X, then clayed, followed by a hand polishing and sealing with Meguiar's Ultimate products. For the tires, I cleaned them with Tuf Shine tire cleaner, and coated them with Turtle Wax Jet Black Endura Shine. Maintaining them is easy: plain ol' car wash soap and water. I use Speed Master brushes for the wheels, primarily because AG offered the as free gifts with some large orders I made. I use a Tuf Shine brush for the tires.

Before the winter, I'll do another deep cleaning and switch the sealant to a coating of CarPro CQuartz UK.

I love the griots green wheel cleaner and rubber cleaner for tires. IMO the best cleaners out there and I've used a bunch.
