This car also came from Fort Walton Beach Florida as my friend is military and moved out here. Pretty much same process as his wifes white 5 series. Only difference is that I substituted BL instead of D151 as an AIO.

Thanks Steve. Yes anything is easier than black especially soft black like mine. What a PITA mine can be.

Great Job man!

I like the was it sits... nice and low

Nice job!

How do you like blacklight compared to D151? Does it remove more swirls? Does it give a better shine?

I dont know if it removes more swirls compared to 151 but it does have a better shine and much easier work-ability. The wipe off of BL is just like a wax where 151 requires more effort as it feels like a traditional polish like M205 with wax added to it.

At this point I would say use M205 on a polishing pad and then your favorite LSP to get the shine and slickness of BL used as an AIO or LSP.

Great work. Nothing shows off the lines of a car better than seeing it in silver. (Of course, I may not be impartial on this subject.)

Looks great! I have a regular customer that birngs me his 330 on a weekly basis, and I love it.

Is that base housing? The garage looks very similiar to my old house at Scott AFB.

Whats he lowerd on? Does he have OSS lights, hows the output compared to stock angel eyes? 335, what power mods? Perfromance pack brakes maybe not 335 then?

He is lowered on Bilstein PSS coils. The OSS lights are the brightest that I have seen on a BMW. Mods that I know of are COBB AP, AFE intake, down pipes, intercooler and e85 fuel blend. Standard brakes just dressed up.

Wheel wells cleaned with APC
Tires scrubbed with Purple degreaser
Wheels cleaned with Wolfgang Uber Wheel Cleaner

I am new to detailing, so wondering why 3 different products to clean the wheels and tires v one APC?

I used APC on the wells as most of it has a fabric lining, a heavy degreaser to strip whatever tire shine for fresh application of new shine, and a dedicated wheel cleaner for the wheels.
