To Collinite, or not to Collinite. That is the question.

I used it today on the Buick here in SC. My go to for sealing freshly polished aluminum also.
I reach for this product unless it is dust conditions or pollen on the forcast.

What do you do when dust and/or pollen are in the forecast?

OCW or a sealant, usually DP or Menz.
Haven't gotten around to trying out the entire Collinite family yet.

I just got the 476 and 915 in to go along with the 845. I love them all! IMO 845 is the easiest to use but the shine of 915 is amazing

I flayed the car to start so after 476 and 915 both cars are incredibly slick.

Just use it ,I put it on my car at the start of the summer, still beads like crazy. It seems that my car stays cleaner longer with it on it,and the longer it goes the better it seems to get! Now if I can get my sons to close the doors correctly I would have there fingerprints all over the place ! Teenagers!

Its real easy, take your finger and place it over the key area and push the door shut! Or take your palm and push the B-pillar. I know you mean "how to get them to do it" and everything but when my kids were very young and we'd go to carshows, I would say "HOT" when they got near a car and they'd turn around and look at me because I didn't wanna be "that guy" at the carshow!

Don't feel bad, mine do the same thing!:mad:

I hope by this time the OP has bought the collinite and is loving it.

I recently invested on the entire collinite line of products and couldn't be happier with their performance.

My finance who laughs at my newfound car addiction even got in on the action and waxed our shower curtain rod with collinite metalwax. Lets just say that a shower hasn't been opened that fast since Norman Bates.

Collinite products are amazing. You won't be disappointed.:props:

My apologies for the late reply. I'd like to thank all who offered their insights into this product. My LSP supply is still good, but I will be placing an order with Autogeek soon and you can bet Collinite 476 will be on that order.

Mahalos again for everyone's help.

Someone else already mentioned it but my cars have stayed cleaner (not showing dust and pollen) after using collinite. Typically after 2 or 3 days I have to dust the cars off but they are still looking good. My daughters car stays outside. I used one product on each car. I couldn't be happier.

I also bought a bottle of 845. I applied it with a 50/50 next to XXX and they both sheet water about the same, and beading was near identical. So at first, I was not impressed. THEN, I took it to the car wash. The high pressure of the car wash was when I noticed the difference. The XXX now had I would say 25% of the water sheeting it had pre wash, and not near as tight/small of beads. The Collinite on the other hand, was just like it was right after I applied it.

Needless to say, I applied it to the entire car, and could not be happier! I wish I would have learned of this before.
