To upgrade ECU or Not...

I've been considering something very similar for my car but won't do it until the warranty runs out. It's simply not worth the risk to me.

That said, as soon as February 2017 comes... I'll be tuning my ride!

Kinda sucks you have to change out the ecu for a tune...having the SCT handheld allows me to flash the ecu anytime I want. There's no handheld option available? With a CAI you should get at least 20-25 hp increases. How easy is it to change out the ecu?

Not going to get that hp out of the genesis coupe with an intake, maybe 8-10 hp and that's being generous. It does how ever really open up the air flow, the stock air filter box is a real choker.

I also put on a full Injen stainless cat back exhaust and the combination of the two made a huge difference.

I'm not going to do an ecu based on warranty. The only thing I really dislike is the rev limit, other than that it's quick enough for me after driving trucks and suv's my whole life, and if I want to make some noise I always have this to hop on :dblthumb2:
