Today i just dont feel like washing my truck...

i try to wash my truck every week if not every other week . but today im just not up to doing it . i have to be really into it or id rather not wash it at all. you guys ever get like this? i feel gulty leaving it dirty. but theres no way im taking it to a car wash thats for sure ...
 
Its wayyyyy too hot here in Ohio to be washing a car today. The only thing I'm going to do today is pick up an SUV that I will be detailing this week.
 
I washed my truck yesterday. Washed the wifes CRV early this morning.
 
Wash the truck. Sugar free red bull will motivate you :-)
 
I totally feel like washing our cars. 94 degrees, 89% humidity, doesn't matter. Only thing that does is that looming 50% chance of rain for the next 4 days.

Rain can't stop me from putting my H-pipe on though. Im the MAN
 
I hear you - it's been way too hot and humid around here lately. Up side is, it's supposed to drop into the 80's this week. I can't wait! Im the MAN
 
some weekends you just need to kick off the shoes , watch a movie, or take a cat nap. Perhaps a late evening wash or waiting till next week wont kill ya !

thats what im doing just relaxing.. latley i havnt been sleeping good at all .3 to 4 hours sleep if that . stress work ect i quess who knows. but it just cought up with me so i need this weekend just to do nothing.. i should be back on my game next weekend . ill apoligize to my truck by giveing her a coat of Souveran. she will totaly forgive me :xyxthumbs:

Thats me this weekend . Only thing I did was cut the grass today. After Frday I will be on Vacation for 3 weeks so I will make up the car washing then .
 
I definitely get like that, "I don't feel like it". Don't feel bad.

Same for me 3-4 hours, I've NEVER been a good sleeper, I always want to be awake... :dunno:

I'm soo ready for some relaxing, yesterday was my last job of the busy season for me. I have 4 video shoots that need to be edited and mastered, but my edit system is at home so I can kick off the shoes, grab a cold one and edit at my leisure over the week Im the MAN.
 
Well I couldn't take it any longer and went out and washed the car. I was even gonna treat it to another coat of Souveran paste but thought I would give it a shot of Souveran spray wax first. I must say I am more and more amazed every time I use this.
 
More times than not, I feel exactly the same. Primarily because it takes so much time (being the anal person that I am) and it's work. The summer temperatures here in the desert doesn't help either. I just washed my car this morning at 6:30AM and the sun was drying up the water pretty bad. It's like mid 80s during that time... Ugh...
 
I feel the same way. The temperatures in Maryland have been hovering between 95 -100 degrees the past two weeks. Good new, is after two days of rain, the temps should be returning into the 80's. I feel guilty because I just bought a new (new to me 2009)vehicle and I have not properly given it a detail.
 
Dont feel bad at all... In the summer its just miserable in KY because of the humidity. Its been 90+ deg and 85-95% humidity every day. And after doing everyone elses cars and sweating like crazy taking care of my car is the last thing I really want to do even if I have a few cold ones while doing it (That always makes working on cars more fun)
 
does it have to be weekend to wash your truck? Wash it on a weekday, just wash it today...
 
Been spending too much time working + other detailing projects to give my car any attention lately. I did finally clean the interior last week (long overdue) but it hasn't been washed in 3+ weeks. Hopefully this week I can find some time to wash it.
