Tom Horvath Owner SYSTEM ONE

I am more than willing to cancel detailing the Vette prior to DFIII ... and allow Tom to use with System One as wanted. Its nowhere near bad shape, but might show the lighter side (finishing) as wanted.

Scott that sounds great! I think everyone just needs to either try System One for themselves or see it in action. Hate seeing someone bash a product they have not even tried. I tried it a couple nights ago and it works great. But everyone has their own opinion, if you are curious try it.... if not stop the bashing, no one is forcing anyone to buy it. :D

Sounds interesting...

I don't think you can feel anything in ScratchX, maybe you have it mixed up with something else. Go to Walmart and grab a tube off the shelf and giver a go...you won't feel any abrasives. I don't ever remember hearing anyone say that ScratchX caused hazing.

Going back to systemone, does this stuff remove 1500 or 2000 grit. I remember only reading 2000.

SYSTEM ONE X3 cutting polish will completely remove any color sand scratch including 1000

and I love the questions

What about polishes such as SSR1 & 2 and Megs ScratchX that have diminishing abrasives that I can't feel? Those must be microscopic too then, right?

Just my opinion, but I don't buy that just because something is too small to be felt that it's "microscopic" or that it wouldn't diminish in size when being used to abrade a surface. I'm no scientist, but it doesn't seem like the laws oh physics would work that way. I dunno....

I find it difficult to comprehend that a polishes abrasive, subjected to pressure and friction will not reduce in size but remain constant, and will abrade and burnish a surface at a constant size, whereas other polishes can either abrade or burnish by utilizing different size abrasives (if a polish abrasive does not become reduced in size where does the polish 'dust' come from?)

Some very abrasive compound polishes don’t feel abrasive to the touch because the particles are formulated in a water-in-oil emulsion and are not released without friction.

Well said.

And defending the bashing appears fruitless anyway...

Do you feel your product is being bashed in this thread?

Bottom line if it gets a person interested it's in their best interest to try it.

Now people can say "well I cant buy everything" true, but this and other sites is either inhabited by:

a) the enthusiast that do this for the pure enjoyment

b) something you do for money

either way the polish is not something that is going to break the bank and there is something potentially advantageous to be discovered for both a) and b) types above.

Tom, welcome to the AGO. I am looking forward to trying out the system one products one day.

I plan on buying some system one and giving it a try. Totoland uses it and gets beautiful results- that says alot about how good this product is IMO. Like said before- you will never truly know until you try.
** any product I have tried from AG has been really good. They wont just sell anything.
WELCOME to AG Tom!!

I've been reading all of these posts with great interest. DF is coming up soon and that will be my first chance at seeing System One in action.

Tom, thanks for spending your time on AG. And for fielding all the questions that have been thrown your way.

Yes, I agree, very cool of him to stick around and field all questions and curveballs thrown his way:cheers:

I'm pretty sure that Mater Toto could get great results from a tube of toothpaste!!! :righton:

ps I'm not saying System 1 isn't good... just a comment on HOW GOOD Toto is in my opinion.

Master? What have you been feeding these people all these years Toto :D

Now this was funny! ROFLMAO

Now, seriously guys, I don't understand what are the questions of "do you work for xyz" kind supposed to mean. I mean, even if it was true (and that is an if) does it mean anything at all?

Common sense would implore it is not relevant at all as long as xyz is a vendor here and statements made are factual & correct, and opinions/feelings offered are respectful, open-minded and not bashing.

Otherwise we are derailing the topic once again right after mods repeatedly said they had enough of it as if we are ignoring the request.
well I was asking because I've read posts on other forums by polishandwax.com, and I was curious to see if it was the same person thats all.

:P Now It just needs to warm up about 50C outside and I am ready to order my system one.

Tom..maybe I missed this during these 17 pages of reading, but can I use my own pads and not yours? I have LCC white, gray, yellow, blue, green pads as well as 3M wool ones. Would they work and which LCC pad should follow up the wool?
