Hey AG! I've got a roll n lock tonneau on my truck and it's great, however some spots are faded. The top is aluminum covered in vinyl, and the vinyl material is grey in many areas instead of black. I'm almost certain it needs to be dyed.

I've tried turtle wax trim restorer, adams svrt, mothers trim stuff, and cg silkshine. Nothing touches it at all, the fabric has literally lost its color.

Any dyes available? Thanks

If the color is gone no amount of shiny dressing is going to bring it back. Check with your local PPG or BASF jobber and they'll mix you some vinyl die. Grab an el cheapo siphon gun, remove the cover and shoot it. They also have a clear vinyl dye you can topcoat for extra UV protection.

Could i get the dye in a shoe polish type dispenser? Lol
