he quotes a ridiculously low price of $19.99 that includes cleanning Carpet , Door Jams , Wheels/ tire Dressing, and a Wax job. ( More like a Spray Wax)
 
He still thinks t-shirts and diapers are acceptable cloths for waxing and detailing.

Hahaha - a few years ago I injured my wrist at work & ended up at A&E, the doctor that was looking after me asked what I done for a living, I told him I was a detailer.

He proceded to ask me why the front of his BMW was dull. He said he used steel wool & methelated spirits to get the bugs off!!! Whilst thinking to myself "do I really want this guy fixing my wrist" I pleaded with him to never do that again. He said he was gentle though. Doh!

I guess I'd rather him have been a better doctor than a detailer than the other way around though.

Another one for the list is - wax all over plastic trim! Dead give away.

When buddy tells you he did a full 2 step on a viper that had bad swirls in 3 hours. Then you tell him it takes you 4 hours alone just do to a sealant with no compound. You get the blank look.haha

When they tell you they are doing a FULL Detail and ask if you want to wait for the car.
 
My dad thought this was perfect way for a speedy clean. This is why I stopped taking detailing advise after he waxed my first car for me and left all the trim white.

I've been doing it all wrong!

Absolutely love the wash mitt for doing interiors. Extracting the leather seats has me a bit baffled but hey, dude is a pro is he not? Must get me some of that "spray the heck out of everything" shiny stuff too & to think it takes me so damn long to buff a single panel - looks as if he could have the whole car done in the time it takes me to do one section!!? :buffing:

Extraordinary! I wonder if they have any issues with any electrical components doing interiors like that? Geeze. Its funny but O so scary at the same time! Never seen anything like that! WOW!
