I have no idea on the chemistry but consider Poorboy's Bold n Bright unique in its class. My other favorites are Mothers Relections and Optimum.

I just tried the WG Black Onyx and interesting look -- more satin. I will see how it looks in a few days.

I'm sorry, can someone help us greenhorns out...

Perl? VRP?

My two favorites as of now are CG Silk Shine for a dark satin look.

and Adam's SVRT if I want a natural look.

I am actually trying VRP because of your recommendation of it. I messed up my photo test so will be having to start all over lol. I am currently testing Meguiar's Detailers Tire and Trim, CarPro PERL, Optimum Opti Bond Tire Gel and Chemical Guys VRP. All at once, one dressing per tire. :D Since I can't really wax my car since it is Opti Coated, I guess I switched to the tire dressing side lol

I am going to see which one last the longest too, but look wise (shine) I would have to go with Chemical Guys VRP or Optimum Opti Bond... I barely put them on yesterday so to soon to tell.

However, next order will include Ultima Tire and Trim

Between Meguiar's Tire and Trim and CarPro PERL In my personal opinion they look to "oily" while I am a fond of the shiny look.

CarPro is a lot glossier then Meguiar's. I believe CarPro can be diluted so that's a plus...., but durability is important in my choosing of which tire dressing...

VRP not only feels dry it looks dry too, almost to dry. Optimum seems to be a good all around choice, but I am imagining it would need 2 thorough coats to achieve the look I am after.

I find that using Meguiar's Hot Wheel and Tire Cleaner really cleans up one's tires. I can't wait until my D143 gets here :D

Art, I don't like that super shiny look. Just a darker dry look. But try BLACK ONYX. U will love it!! I am not a fan of fling and there is none with BLK Onyx or VRP. Maybe try SMARTDRESSING by CHEMGUYS SISTER COMPANY

Actually when I asked my family how the dressings look. They said VRP looked like they were brand new tires, which is a good thing. I would say VRP came in second, mainly because the durability wasn't as good as PERL with the amount needed.

I do like the little glossier look though, but not to glossy so PERL diluted 3:1 gave me that.

2 coats of VRP gave the extra shine that I like but still pretty matte, just darker, but then I would be using double the product.

Where PERL at 3:1 I am only using 75% of product.

so more for less is what it came down to. I just have a good number of dressings and ask customers which look they prefer. Super glossy, medium or matte.

Then I pick as I see fit for them. :D

I have bought a lot of tires (almost all Michelin) and none looked like that. They were often that clean (mold release on them) without any sheen. Dressing make them look more formal.

Prima Infinity got my love based on your review, was hoping to have received it by now as it needs to travel in a cousin's luggage overseas; but then he delayed his trip by ten months so hopefully I'll get my stuff before next Christmas. :)
