No love for S100 wax?
Would love to hear more about Brake Buster. Should I get some?
No particular order,
1 Ego 650 blower. Also have a Big Boi Mini Plus and that could go sub in here as well, but the Ego is just easier. Drying is the thing I would put at the bottom of the whole detail list of fun things. So anything to make it go by faster.
2 Good Shop Vac with all it's attachments. I can't stand any dirt inside a vehicle, a good quality vacuum is a must. I use mine if I get any dirt from my boots after any drive needed, takes about 2 minutes and all clean again and never have a vacuum session ever then.
3 Meguiars M27. I know this hasn't got alot of attention or got any love from others, but I have had amazing results with it. I haven't dipped my toes into fullon ceramic coatings so the sealants with ceramics is fine with me. The ceramics in this make beading and drying off a breeze with either blower above, water can't get off fast enough. I really like alot about this product.
Now I will say, I feel #3 may change to a new player once winter is behind us again. Black Friday sales and my visa shook hands...![]()

I just want to know which one dries the car better.
I would honestly buy one of both and go from there for a future purchases.Should I spend my hard-earned cash on Griot’s PFM or TRC Gauntlet for drying duty?

Top 3 products (chemicals) -
CarPro Reset - Always love using this stuff, one of CarPro's best products, one the best soaps period!
P&S Paint Gloss - I have reaching for this quite a bit lately, I think there is still a place for traditional detail sprays.
NV Onyx - Have been using this for a few years now, absolutely love the scent, application ease and the look.
Top 3 towels -
TRC Gauntlet (medium) - just a great drying towel.
TRC Creature Edgeless - love these towels, great for a variety of tasks. I use them for door jambs, delicate interior trims and rinseless washing.
TRC Car Wash Towel - These are a do-it-all type of towel, great size for interiors, dirty jobs ect.
After I use my auto squeegee, I use one Meguiar's X2000 towel. Works fantastic. The towels mentioned in this thread however have piqued my interest.
I use an automotive squeegee on all jobs across the entire car. I know this is controversial and I will read/listen to anything anyone has to say about it. But I sincerely yet to have any problems and it really saves on towels.I don’t hear about many people here using squeegees. Only on the glass, right?
