Bosch has some awesome blades, use them in the past. I got some Michelin for my truck about 6 months ago and they are still like new.

I bought the same blades not to long ago, I can't believe I payed 20 bucks a blade, but it was worht it, work better than any other.

Bringing the thread back to life

I just picked up the PIAA Super Silicone ones at $16.99 ea from big river for my 4runner. These blades will be replacing the stock ones that I've had on for the last eight years (yep, heard me right).

My garaged daily driver in SF CA doesn't get rained on that often, but the Anco/Trico variety blades on my old Honda had to be replaced every year without fail.

I just bought the new Michellin Optimum offerings, boy does the driver side chatter. (disappointment)

wipe with cotton ball with alcohol then 303 protect them once a month and they will last longer and keep your glass cleaner.

For $50, you can get SILBLADES, which are much nicer IMO, and they carry a 5 year warranty.

I use an ONR with distilled water mix in the summer, and in the winter I add a bit of ONR to the mix to reduce/eliminate chatter.

Try adding a QD to your mix and see if it helps the chatter.

I have bad luck with anco's they do not seem to last long for me.

my bosch are still going strong !!! bought them last year

wow, great tips! Im the MAN

Sounds like Bosch ICON's. Not sure where everyone is getting "ION" from. But they are nice blades.

I've been a trico neoform guy for quite a while but the last time I tried the new 'Trico Tech Beam Blades' that came out late last year. They have a pretty slick off-set mounting system that lets the wiper arm sit ever so slightly lower. They're also beefy as hell and a couple of bucks cheaper than the neoforms. They're quiet and work great. Easy install. Got them online.
One last interesting discovery: Both the Techs & NeoForms come in 28" which is sometimes hard to find. Also, the NeoForms come in the IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN FRAMELESS 14". Hope this helps others...

post is over two years old ... locking. Something tells me we have many options now since everyone is in the market of wiper blades.
