Ok, so I put a coat of P21 100% on about 3-4 weeks ago, the Jeep is on a car port all the time, so it is not fully covered or exposed... I just got some Autoglym and want to add some to the jeep...

So, my question is, can I just add some on top? Or should I try to remove the P21?

Thank you in advance... :props:

I wouldnt ... IMO P21S 100% looks better too.

Sounds like the HD might be going on the wife's car... I was just trying to get more sheeting...

Can someone post some pics of the exact same car with these two waxes used on different areas?

Being that the gloss is mostly produced by a perfectly polished panel, (You can put 500 dollar wax on clearcoat failure and it still looks like crap) I really dont believe if you saw a car you would be able to say "Oh yeah thats ______wax and that car over there was waxed with _______"

Ive used a few different waxes on different levels on the same black vehicle and the difference is subtle. I know this is going to have the same effect as walking into a southern Baptist church and saying "You people are off your freaking rocker with your convulsions and healing palms" but I think alot of people are victims of marketing hype and placebo effect.

Maybe someone who details for a living or an amateur with lots of experience can easily tell the difference but I proved to myself last week that I sure can't. We had been using AG HD wax on my wife's car for several months. She had just finished waxing her car when I got home the other day and I remarked how wet and deep the AG HD looked compared to the Megs GC we used to use. That's when she told me it was the old Megs GC. So....obviously I can't tell the difference in appearance, but I can tell the difference in longevity. AG lasts much longer than the Megs.

I can tell the difference slightly in sealants vs wax. And longevity is definitely apparent between waxes. but thats about it. I believe if you polish, even jewel paint to absolute perfection you will have a hard time telling the difference between 500 dollar wax and 20 dollar wax just by sight.

+1 All about the prep!
