Topless Mustang getting the Finest love

Great job Richy! Really hard paint is a pita! But you did it.

@GSKR for as much as you detail "aircraft" and seem to have a stupid response for everything, you sure have a lot of time to post on this forum.
maybe because I don't spend 20 hrs on a new mustang.

I've helped so many detailing enthusiastic people on the forum, tell me why my message box is always full.I just wanted to know why it takes so long to detail a new mustang with light swirls.Just asking a question nothing wrong with that,no harm.

Richy, I always enjoy your posts.
Thanks Mike. I appreciate the feedback.

Beautiful work. Hopefully, your customer will maintain the paint better now, and it won;t be as bad the next time you see it
He just bought it; this is unfortunately damage from the previous owner. I've recommended different products to him to maintain it in great condition. I have no doubt whatsoever that he will keep it great.

Great work as always Richy - enjoy your writeups.

I know everyone enjoys paint but you really know how to get wheels clean!
Thanks! To me, wheels are very important. I like sharing what works...and what doesn't.

Great transformation Richy, thanks for sharing.

Well done Richy. Ford paint can be a challenge but you did it right. Thanks for sharing.

Raising the bar yet again Richy !!!! The last thing that car looked was "boring" !!!!

Thanks kindly. I've done several Mustangs before. Only one I remember being a real challenge. It was a black Roush model.

Thanks very much Pat, and LOL @ the last.

Stunning work, Richy, as i always expect from you. Truly professional standards applied on every job you take on.

Great work as always, Richy! Always nice seeing "proper" correction being performed, which we all know takes a lot of time. ;)

NOTE TO ALL FORUM MEMBERS:

Please respect others as you would like to be respected !!

Nice job.

I can see how it could take that long for sure - especially because the barrels were tarred up and the paint was acting weird.

What difference does it make how long it takes, anyway? Is this a fastest detailer contest? It takes me 3 hrs to wash my car the way I wanna do it - do I suck, too?

Thanks buddy. It's never taken me this long before, but I didn't choose the paint condition as it was presented to me, I just did my best to fix it. It takes what it takes.

Thanks. I'm not apologizing for the length of time it took, nor do I think a criticism of that time is valid. The wheels usually take me 4-5 hours without polishing barrels with a DA and with no other complications like what I was faced with here. Like in my profession, when you don't rise to the bait of trolls, they become more agitated. So be it. My work will always speak for itself and being booked into August is a testament to my talent.

Beautiful work as always Richy!

"Boring" never crossed my mind.

Thanks for taking the time to share and list what was used to accomplish the results.

Awesome job as always Richy!! Way to do it right (I certainly wouldn't expect anything less from you though). I find it humorous that someone who has so much time to spend posting on forums would comment about how long it takes to do "proper" correction. One of those that makes you go "hmm"....

Great job on the stang man!! Doesnt matter how long it took you....pretty sure this forum is for people to get good info, tips and some CONSTRUCTIVE critisism at best. Not everyone can be the detail master of the universe!!!!

Thanks Mike. It wouldn't cross your mind as it's not relevant given what was done. Time was proportional to the work.

Thanks Kyle! I don't know about that, there are a lot of talented people who regularly display their work here, but I'd consider myself fortunate to be counted among them.

Always love your threads Richy but you're getting lax on the washing pics. need more soapy pics! fills my OCD quota haha
