Topping duragloss with nuba?

Yes, but only with true Nuba like Victoria Wax Concours Red wax. Not with solvent based waxes like Collinite. Anything from Dodo Juice should be fine too.

And here I promised myself I'd not get stressed out today....oh well....

How about p21s 100%

There is some "solvent" in all waxes - just which solvents and how much is all speculation - except for the very few manufacturers that list the ingredients of all of what is in their wax.

Are you in the UK by any chance?

There seems to be some speculation that Collinite paste waxes are "solvent based" over there. Since Collinite keeps the % of most of their ingredients proprietary - I'm not sure how this got started?

Wait a minute...

Vic Red does have other Waxes than carnauba;
It also does have at least one solvent:

"Concours Red Wax is an exotic blend of large amounts of pure Carnauba and other waxes with a small amount of natural oils and one of the world's lowest VOC solvents."

Shoot, I get that with 601/105. I do not have the snow, salt or rain tho. But I do have 110+ ambient with 145 to 165 sheet metal temps.

Yea...
And I hear folks are just dying to get a chance to ride in them.

I love Duragloss 111, and Zymol Creame or Carbon on it. Why? Sometimes I just feel like waxing a car. On the cars I maintain, I like to seal them and be done with it until next time. On my family's cars I'll put the Zymol over the Duragloss, M26 over M21/Ultimate Wax, and SCG Barrier Reef Paste over SCG Nano Seal.

I have a nostalgic attachment to carnauba based waxes.

To add to that, I'm eying Collinite 476S, 915. I have a bottle of 845, but haven't used it yet - mostly because I like paste waxes. I did wax one of my cymbals with it, and the slickness and gloss was incredible!

IMO...

Nothing wrong with continuing the time-honored practice of enjoying the extraordinary effects of a particular epicuticular-wax product.

On my old white Mustang, I topped #111 with both S100 and #26 yellow wax. Didn't think it offered much in the way of improved looks as Duragloss looks great already.
