What are you guys doing for maintenance and touch ups throughout the year??
My typical spring cleaning recipe is a good polish to get the surface perfect followed by a coat or two of BFWD and then topped with either XMT 180 or SSII. I swapped to XMT because I found the appearance to be every bit as good as the SSII, but with a bit more durabilty.
But for my question, it seems to me, at least has been my experiences, that neither one of these products like to be applied to anything less than a perfect surface. After a month or two and a few washes (or as soon as I start to notice my water beading qualities fading), I like to re-apply a nice easy coat of something. But when I do this with either one of these products, it never seems to achieve the same results as it did when applied on a fully prepped surface.
I hate to "go there", but I never experienced this back when I was using Mothers. I could reapply whenever, and the performance would hang around.
Just curious what you guys do in between those spring cleaning jobs. Thanks guys!
