2014 C7 Stingray was in for new car prep. Polishing out dealer induced swirls and factory left sanding marks were needed before applying a protective coating.

To keep the detail as cost effective as possible, the coating of choice was CQuartz UK Edition.

Products/equipment used (but not limited to):
ONR
Speedy prep towel
IronX
Meg’s Wheel Brightener
Meg’s Super Degreaser
Grit Guard inserts
Rupes 21
Dewalt 849x
PC7424xp for 4”pads
Buff and Shine pads (yellow, blue, and green)
4” wool pad
M100
CarPro Reflect
CarPro Eraser
CarPro CQuartz UK
CarPro Reload
Meg’s Hyper Dressing
Meg’s Window Cleaner Concentrate

I will let the pictures tell the story.

The owner did not want to wash his C7 till it had a coating on it, so it received it’s first bath post dealership at Absolute Perfection Auto Detailing.

ONR was used as the wash media:

Thank you for looking!

Awesome work Jon!
Looks great now and that red paint is really popping after your TLC revealed the potential :xyxthumbs:

Very nice work , the car looks great . I really cant believe the owner took delivery on that car..no way I would have...I cant believe that kind of work came out of the vette plant..looks to me that they have failed quality control.

The bearded man in action! Beatiful C7 Corvette!

Thanks for sharing.
Looks really nice now.

Notwithstanding the close proximity to the braking components, as well as the fiberglass "springs":
It's hard for me to believe that D140 was necessary
to clean the wheels on this Corvette!

Thank you for the kind words everyone! She turned out stunning for sure!

Thank you for your constructive feedback Bob and your concern. One of the wheels had a "stain" for lack of a better term at a small portion of the barrel that just ONR did not remove. As a professional, care was given to be safe with Meg's WB. Using a wheel woolie, diluted WB was sprayed onto the actual brush and then the brush was used to agitate the spot on the barrel. Soap solution and a rinse then was used to clean that area.

The customer was thrilled with the outcome and the care that was given to his beautiful C7 Stingray.

Have an awesome weekend! :props:
