Touch up pen

I ordered another paint pen. This time I got one that had the reservoir attached to the pen. The last one kept falling off causing a mess.

The tiny chips need to be wet sanded to remove the ridges and then a fine artist brush to fill the chip. Multiple thin coats with adequate drying time between coats is necessary so that the paint won't lift. Metallic paint, which I have will never be perfect. So don't beat yourself up if you can still see the repaired rock chip. Remember only you can see it. LOL

You can order it on Amazon under Gold Label Detailing Fine Line Fluid Writer Paint Applicator

Our touch up tool arsenal at the shop includes one of these fine line pens (with the reservoir), lab syringes, and tooth pics. The pen thing works great but is difficult to use on side panels or anywhere where you cant keep the reservoir upright. A syringe might work best for the larger chip you are describing because if you fill it to much you can suck some back out and get it perfectly level with the OEM paint.
