I used touch up and clear coat to fix my chipped away area (picture attached). What I did was added touch up. Then I sanded the touch up with 1000 grit, 1500 grit, 2000 grit and compound. Then I used Langka Blob remover because I didn't think it was level. I added 3 layers of clear coat and now this is what I have (picture attached).

My question is should I wet sand the clear coat or follow the clear coat bottle and only use the rubbing compound? Also, I could use langka to smooth out the blob more. One more thing is when i was using the 1000 grit I got some 1000 grit scratches on surrounding area. In order to remove those should I use 1500 then 2000 then compound to remove them? Also, in the pictures you will see a white haze around the area, how do I remove it?

Didn't you have a thread on this? If so, why did you start another one?http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ask-expert-featuring-mike-phillips/77431-serious-peeling.html

I thought it would be better to make a post in the wetsanding, cutting, buffing because that is what I need information about.

If your touch up paint repair is higher than the rest of the paint then I would try wet sanding the area flush with rest of the paint then use a compound to remove the sanding marks
