Thanks! I have sealed them with Gyeon Wet Coat and so I just used the pressure washer with a white nozzle to blast away the dirt on the wheels.

I am going totally touchless. I will use Gyeon Wet Coat or McKees Hydro Blue every other month. If there are bird droppings or other spots, I will carefully wipe just that spot with my best towel and some waterless wash. Better to have a few dirt spots than a bunch of swirls from wiping it constantly, whether washing or using detail spray/waterless/rinseless.

if the car has light dust then a touchless wash can be done but over time when driving and it accumulates debris/contamination/grime/film you'll have to physically touch the car with a wash mitt/sponge/towels to remove it...

I was thinking the same, I wouldn't be so afraid of touching it as long as you have plenty of good clean towels. It's not that delicate

I am a pro detailer, so i have plenty of the best towels. I use the best products. I agree there will have to be some rubbing. I am just going to try to NOT wipe it down with detail spray, waterless wash, etc. nearly as often as I did in the first year I've owned this car.

I know what you mean it's a good idea if you stay on top of it. The only problem for me would be that buffing the car with a towel is my favorite part. What types of towel are your favorite?

I bought a full stock of autogeek plush towels when I started. Then a while after buying about 100 of them I discovered edgeless towels and ended up spending a few more 100 on them.

Lol, it's a collection and I tell myself at least they're relatively cheap. Plenty of worse ways I could be spending the money

Oh my towel collection is RIDICULOUS! I don't get my towels on Autogeek so they shall remain nameless :-)

I buy all my towels wholesale from the company that imports the good towels from Korea, and re-brands them for all the internet vendors. I use Korean made 800-1100 GSM 70/30 towels for anything touching my paint. I use the edgeless birds too ;-)

I do have some towels that came from Autogeek, mostly in mystery boxes, kits, etc. I have the Cobra Guzzler and the Gold Plush Jr and all those towels. I use them for other thing than paint, because tehy are usually 80/20% polyamide to polyester. I only use the 70/30s on my paint. The other are used for glass, interior, etc.

I broke that addiction with a GOOD electric blower (not a Harbor Freight leaf blower!)

All it takes is one little piece of twig or grit or whatever to turn that towel into a marring towel

My car has never been polished yet. It gets its first polishing very soon (right before CamaroFest in July) and then I will have to buff off the polish obviously. I am going to use new towels for polish removal. Then I am going to use McKee's Hydro Blue for a no touch sealant, and try to touch it as little as possible until the next annual polishing. I will report how it goes.

You are scratching the paint every time you touch it with a towel or mitt. It's inevitable.

I had that blower and man it did not work for me lol, I just went on with the towels.

Hmmm, works great for me and it was about $40...

OH, I know why!!! The Gyeon Wet Coat!!! You put that stuff on and you can almost blow the water off with your breath!

Is it the company that sells rags? Thats the only other place ive found but the towels are great. I agree about the 70/30 but I find sometimes the lesser gsm is better depending on what im doing. I like to use the 365-420 gsm to buff things off the car like spray wax. I just feel like it does a better job getting the excess off.

I just ended up with some 75/25 around 400 gsm im probably going to use to remove polish.

IM sorry but that is complete bs. If that was true you wouldnt even be able to detail a car because you would be scratching it taking the polish off going around in circles.
