Towel Edges

AG does have MF chart. It does not include all the MFs they sell.

Microfiber Comparison Chart

Did you have a question about any AG MFs in particular?

No, I emailed customer service about a few of their towels that did not list weight, etc. Alot of the towels are not listed on the chart like the clean and buff and artic white etc. Thak you for offering to help!:xyxthumbs:

One way to test[/B] to see if MF towel borders are not silk/satin:

Pick a MF towel from a recent order...Put a match to a section of the border..
If the border: 'pulls away from you', blackens-up into hard little globules...
they're probably made from some sort of 'plastic'...

-But, then again, so are MF towels that are made from polyesters/polyamides.

After the: "Burn Test"...

Set your towels on fire? No way. Just by name brand towels from AG, CG, MF Tech, CarPro, Adams, etc.. And you won't have any problems. If your towel is scratching more than likely something is stuck in it, and its not the towel itself.

I never wipe paint with the edges of towels.

:dunno:

But Mike its the COOL thing to do!! No, I got you, if folded into fours there should not be much edge contact. And the CORBRA edges have microfiber or satin edges so not much damage if any could probably be done unless you are using excessive pressure.

I never wipe paint with the edges of towels.

:dunno:
I diligently try not to do so myself!

-I wonder, then, if the answer to the OP's/Drew's: MF towel edge-dilemma...would be:

It really doesn't matter what material the edges/borders of MF towels are made of/from...
Just always keep them off the paint.
(NOTE: This may also apply to other vehicle surfaces, as well.)
