How many micro fiber towels do you use. 1 for drying car, 1 for buffing off wax/polishes, 1 for windows, 1 for door jambs, 1 for underhood and 1 for wheels or do you use terry cloth for wheels, door jambs and under hood detailing?

I use 1 huge Guzzler guzzler waffle weave for drying, 2-3 glass MF's for cleaning windows, 1 for door jambs, 2 for drying wheels, and 1-2 for buffing off each coat of wax/sealant/polish.

I'm probably an idiot, I've never counted. I use a big waffle weave for the major portion of my drying and as many others as it takes to finish the job. I only us MF's, no terry's.

I agree, I find no need for terry cloth and cotton towels any longer on cars. I occasionally use a shop rag when checking oil level, buts thats it.

use several waffle weaves for drying for different area of the vehicle. samething goes when i polish and wax, use as many as needed.

I'll use terry when I clean the engine bay. WW for drying and a variety of MF's for everything else.
