Have any of you guys seen this truck! It is massive. I am not atruck guy so i wanted some opinions on what you guys think of this truck. I do not tow anything or off road but am thinking of getting one to haul the family around. My kids are into sports and we go to the park alot. I currently have a Tahoe and hate putting all their equipment inside the Tahoe and getting it all dirty. With a truck i could just throw everything in the back. Plus we are always running to the Home Depot and hauling plants. Im a big guy (6'3 250lbs) so i like a big car. Are trucks easier to detail and maintain clean than cars? Thanks.

I would say that small pickup trucks and cars are about the same...the big truck bed has no roof to it.......not as much area as people think...suv's on the other hand are a totally different animal...unfortunately the toyota tundra crew max is a big truck and I would put it more on par with suv status...so to sum up an answer for you it will be a big job to detail

I can't imagine a truck would be easier to detail than a car. They have more flat surfaces compared to a car which might be easier to work on but there is also a lot more surface area to work. As far as the new Tundra I think the front end looks kind of fuggly but it looks good from the side. It does look huge though.

I am a toyota guy so my opinion might be biased but here goes. They are really great trucks, I would give this one a year so they can work the bugs out before buying. Trucks have more surface area than cars so it is more work to clean. In regards of them getting dirtier, i would say it's all about your lifestyle and area in which you live. The beds are easy to clean and whenever i need to haul something I don't have to worry. Hope this helps.

The new silverados are pretty awesome, and there are some good financing deals right now. Just a thought. That aside, the new tundras are also very awesome. My brother's currently in the market for a full size truck, I think he may be leaning towards the new silverados.

I'm not a big fan of Toyota, but I defenetely like their new Tundra Truck. I would though drive a couple of competitors just to see the difference for yourself, and see what you like more. You are getting that Tundra in 5.7 liter version, right? As far as detailing - be prepared to spend about 1.5-2 times more time then an average sedan detailing.Nacho said:

It's frustrating, because I fit into our Toyota Matrix, but not their new Tundra. I needed a couple new trucks for one of my businesses and was seriously considering the Tundra until I sat in it. I do not like the new Toyota. UGGGGGGLY. It looks like they glued a bunch of different parts together. If there was a puking smiley I would use it right now. Anyways, I am 6'7" tall 225 pounds and have enough room in my silverado for me to sit in and wear my cowboy hat. I would look into the Chevy for head room. Ford has a little less head room then my Chevy but still plenty.
