^^video of the transformation for after the read!

This thrashed Toyota Tundra was in some MAJOR need of some TLC. With both sides completely scratched via rocks, branches, and improper washing techniques, this big girl was in some serious need of an overhaul. Pictured below are some before shots of the condition of the paint prior to being put under the knife.

Complete sanding was performed on both sides to knock down 90+% of the defects, some spots going as low as 800 grit to remove deep scratches. The paint measured an average of about 6.0mils so we knew there was some room to play with. By the time we were done we had taken down only about .2mils. Followed by numerous stages of compounding and polishing to jewel the metallic blue to a crystal clear and brilliant finish, well, the results speak for themselves!

Topped with Ceramic Pro 9H and Light, this beautiful truck will be protected from the Arizona sun for years to come.

Nice truck. Really like that color.

Great job, im sure that took a long time to do...hope it stays nice for a long time now...thanks for posting

Very nice, came out great. Be nice if I had sanding skills. I do have a car I can practice on. Hmm

Was the paint OEM or a repaint? 800 is extremely aggressive regardless of either OEM or not. Any specific reason why you did not choose to use a different grit before selecting 800? The results speak for themselves and you did a great job.
