I normally keep the "Pictures & Comments" thread closed till we start broadcasting but though some of you might like to see and comment about the products I have at the ready...

Don't know if we'll be able to fit them all in but we'll do what we can...

Jon arrives with his Mustang around 3:00pm tomorrow so I might try the CarPro Orange Peel Removal Pads before we broadcast live and just share any pictures and feedback...

Gets kind of busy during these types of projects managing the team while at the same time broadcasting live, while at the same time monitoring the car and the progress...

:D

It`s starting to look like a five PIZZA night for all the attendees JON.:hungry:

is there non factory paint on the Stang that has Orange Peel? Might be helpful to know since repaint is thicker than factory peel...right? maybe mention for those removing peel from factory

edit: not trying to be d1ck just wondering outloud

is there non factory paint on the Stang that has Orange Peel?

This is a restorod Mustang and has been completely repainted, I'll get the specifics from Jon when he gets here.

Might be helpful to know since repaint is thicker than factory peel...right?

The overall thickness of a "custom repaint" will tend to be thicker than a factory finish and this would also include the clear layer of paint.

The actual hills and valleys that make-up "Orange Peel" can vary on both factory finish and refinish and how thick or how exaggerated the hills and valleys are likely varies too much between painters for their to be a "norm".

maybe mention for those removing peel from factory

Good idea...
