As I normally do, this is a thread I create to share the cars that will be here for the class to work on over the course of the 3-day class.


1970 VW Shorty!
Yep - he cut 4 feet out of the center!

1966 Impala Convertible - note the fender skirts on the rear wheels

1954 Ford Customline with a 302 Ford engine and C4 transmission

2001 Corvette Roadster LS1

1993 C4 Corvette

A.C. Cobra

This Cobra has the 427 Overhead Cam engine, very rare.

2010 Chevy HHR

1968 Buick Electra 225 - All original

1966 Dodge Coronet 440

We have a Barn Find car for this class with the ORIGINAL single stage paint. So this class will have the opportunity to learn how to do the #7 Rub Out. This is only the 3rd time I've ever been able to teach this technique in a classroom setting and Autogeek's classes are the only classes where this technique is shared.

At Competition Ready Classes you learn both production detailing and show car detailing. You learn wet sanding and so much more. We always have cool cars for the class to learn on.

OPTIONAL - IDA Skills Validation Testing

If you want to become an IDA Skills Validated Detailer, we give the Skills Validation practical test on Monday following the three day class. You have to have already taken and passed the online Certified Detailer tests.

I've been working in our Show Car Garage all day setting up and getting prepared for our May 3-Day Class starting this Friday.

No problem - made a few phone calls and have these instead.

We're going to start by washing cars first thing, here's why,

• We need the canvas top drying in order to apply the RaggTopp Protection.
  
  
• You're going to learn how to apply a TIRE COATING but we need to MACHINE SCRUB the tires first.
  
  
• You're going to learn the correct way to wash and the apply 303 Aerospace Protectant to a 1966 Impala Convertible and a 1971 Buick Electra.
  

So get a good night's sleep!
