As you know Craig since you've taken the class twice, these classes are about 90% hands-on training time.

My experience after teaching detailing classes for over 2 decades now is that people learn best and remember the most by getting hands-on, real-world experience.

So I bring in plenty of cars to make sure everyone gets all the hands-on time they want and need and I know everyone sleeps good at the end of the day.

Mike are those old cars resprayed or original paint?

Good question.

No. Each car has a modern base coat/clearcoat paint system like the cars 99.9 percent of the cars my students will be working on when they return home.

I have had a few cars here in the past with single stage and that makes our classes even more special. For example we had a 1967 all original Lincoln Continental at one of our classes with the original paint and that class not only learned how to properly restore antique paint but the also learned how to use the Duprey Steam machine to restore the original white leather interior.

That class can also be seen on "My Classic Car" with Dennis Gage.

If I wasn't on my iPad I would get you the links as all of these projects are documented on this forum.

Time to hit the hay, I pick up donuts for the class at 5:30am!

Looks like some serious old school muscle Mike. Gonna be a great weekend for you guys !!!

God, just to see those facilities and cars is freakin' orgasmic. Huge, beautiful space to pull ALL those in, close the door and work in the air conditioned space led by "The Master" in beautiful Stuart, FL!!!

Enjoy folks.

We're breaking for a delicious pizza lunch and then we start back in learning to use the Cyclo followed by the Griot's Boss Paint Polishing System and that should finish out this first day.

The class just took two totally swirled-out Corvettes and restored them to better than factory new.

Instead of a wax or synthetic paint sealant we applied the new BLACKFIRE Crystal Paint Coating. Wait till you see the after shots!
