Trans Am and Trucks and Bimmer Oh my!! (*pic heavy*)

Things have been crazy busy this year, so I thought I'd condense several jobs into one post...


2002 Trans Am

-Foamed
-Washed
-Clayed
-Interior cleaned
-2 coats of Optimum Opti-Seal
-1 coat of Optimum Car Wax
-Tires dressed

Time: ~4.5 hours

2006 Sierra SLE. Lowered, 22"s, exhaust, and a nice grill.

-Foamed
-Washed
-Wheels polished
-exhaust polished
-clayed
-Interior cleaned
-1 coat of Blackfire Wet Diamond
-Tires dressed

Time: ~5 hours

Here is the next one, 09 I believe 2500HD. This sucker was big! Got the same treatment as the above truck, but more time on interior since it needed some more work in there.


Completion time: ~6 hours

Pretty much swirl free too

BMW 745 iL, that’s the long wheel base one. Backseat feels like a limo!

-Foamed
-Washed
-Wheels thoroughly cleaned (about 30 min each)
-Clayed
-Interior cleaned
-Leather deep cleaned
-Leather conditioned
-All carpets and mats shampooed and Extracted with 210* hot water extactor
-1 Stage of Paint Correction
-1 coat of sealant
-Tires dressed

Swirls were extreme on this one, removed about 60% with 1 step of correction. Clear was definitely on the hard side.

Time: ~11 hours

A ton of leather cleaner, many microfiber towels, and a hot water extractor, and these are the results.

2008 Civic Ex. This is actually my ex-girlfriend’s car. Detailed it right before we split lol. Full correction job then a stage of jeweling on this one, thankfully she takes very good care of it and the swirls were very light.

-Menz 203 LC white – rotary
-Menz 85RD LC gold kompressor – rotary
-2 coats of Zaino Z2pro
-1 coat of Zaino Clear Seal
-Zaino Z8
-Wheels sealed with Optimum Opti-Seal (2 coats)
-Tires dressed


Time: 9 hours

It was VERY windy this day. Huge gusts of wind made the water on the car actually ripple!!

What did you use on the wheel wells/tires on the 2500? My Dad has an F250 crew cab and I just cringe when he starts talking about detailing it. LOL

For all that asked, the exhaust tips were polished with an old staple... Mothers Aluminum and Mag polish with #0000 steel wool.

The inner fenders on the front of the 2500HD were treated Meguiars Professional Line Water-based Hyper Dressing.
