Transformers

You must be talking about the older Camaro. The new style Camaro that was used in the Transformers move was an LS1. The article shows how Saleen made the new Camaro from a new style GTO. All of the new style GTO's have V8's in them.
 
Negative the new camaro saleen built for GM had a v6, Steve Saleen himself has confirmed it. There a vid on youtube where he speaks about it.

Here's an article from Edmonds with a bunch of pics showing that in fact the next gen Camaro did in fact have an LS1 (which is a V8) in it for the Transformers movie.Edmonds
 
You guys have me all fired up now, I'm heading to Hollywood Video in the morning. I liked the original animated series but not so much the copycats after.
 
Awesome movie. Don't bother with the special edition the extras are not worth it and there is an extra menu after the credits run (DVD version).
What are the chances that the 2009 Camaro will still have those small side view mirrors? I just have a feeling that GM will screw it up somehow.

I'm familiar (know what they are not specs) with the LS1,LS2,LS6 but the man who built it has already said it has a v6 then thats what I believe it was built with.

Watched the movie last night. Excellent !!!

I would highly recommend it.
