Trashed Corvette brought back

First and foremost, great job at bringing America's legend back into good graces!! :props:

By its condition when it arrived I would classify this car as a daily driver. Talk about not caring at all about what you're driving!! Some have no respect for this class of automobile and should stick to driving dump trucks!! :nomore:

Bu the end result is an example on how a vette suppose to look :xyxthumbs: Kudos to the owner for doing/paying what it takes to bringing the car back to being a head turner.
 
I read this post last night just before going to sleep and I ended up having a nightmare that I was detailing this red corvette and I was having to use an air chisel to get off the old wax.

I also watched Inception last night ... maybe a contributing factor.

BTW, great job on the car!

I have seen that myself, using a vette to transport large items. I think sometimes they have chosen to buy a vette for their only vehicle so they have to use it that way and then there is others, that there is no explanation.
 
what did you use to bring back the exhaust tips? Very nice job, any vette is worth saving!!

What steps did you use to correct the paint? if you dont mind...... and i am very suprised how you left the tips of the muffler compare to what they look before what did you use for that?

I think it is mostly due to the fact that just about anyone can get a $50k loan these days. They end up car poor and can't maintain it.....

around my way, vettes are a "me too" car almost as much as a mustang (oh, you have a vette? me too!) I think they were over produced for a little bit, leading the supply to overtake the demand which decreased the price to become more affordable for the average person. Could be different in the different sections of the US, idk.... car looks awesome though, great turn around!
