Traveling the farthest for Detail Fest 2012?

I can't wait until I graduate college (1 more year!) then I'll be able to take the trip down because I'll be making more then $5.25/hr. Well thats the plan at least lol

Curious, Is that minimum wage in Kentucky?

It will be about 720 miles for me and then back.

From Bloomington IL. about 1,346.2 miles.

Any details about the sing-ups for Mikes detailing classes yet ????

Thanks

Last year i drove from Omaha,Nebraska (had the yellow Rumble Bee) i think it was about 1500 miles one way. it was a great time. was very well taken care of while i detailed the truck. thanks autogeek.

If I was to go it would be 3,019mi. Although I'd love to attend realistically it's too far.

I'm 6 miles away - any prize for the shortest? How about having attended all 6 DFs? Looking forward to being there again this year!

It's looking like I will be there, as I had vacation time at work I had to use up that was just approved. About 1120 miles for me from SE PA. This may be a dumb question, but will all the great items AG sells online be on sale at Detail Fest? As, thats one of the main reasons I plan on driving as apposed to flying, with the airlines having restrictions on liquids and all. Imagine going to get on the plane and they make you toss all your detail liquids you just spent a few hundred dollars on. I can just see them looking at the label Chemical Guys thinking they make bombs or something.

You will be able to buy and leave with just about everything we carry!

Ok make sure we get it figured out who traveled the farthest! Need to get a lucky prize to our winner! I did just speak to someone that flew in from Germany but he does not qualify, he is a vendor! :)

even though I could not make the trip this year , I would love to attend even just once in my life . I would drive from central Wisconsin and I'm sure there would be a few autogeeksters along the way . need to fig out a way on how to see where people are coming from and maybe could carpool , room up ? save a little money . it be a good road trip with some fellow ag er's . just a thought.

Knowing the TSA they would skip right over that and be worried about your lunch. Besides, they will be too busy frisking the toddlers and old ladies. Have a safe trip.
