Hey AG! I'm looking to protect my shiny new powdercoat as much as possible, the PC guy told me a nice caranuba wax would work. I have plenty of caranuba wax, I was just wondering what other AG geeks have done to protect their powdercoat? Sealants/waxes?

Need something to offer protection from road water/oils

You need to OptiCoat it. Wax will work, but will require reapplication.

spay wax will work. but coating will last longer.
it being an undercarriage it's going to be hard to keep anything on it for long.

Just don't polish it. There's not enough paint to polish. Most powder coats say to use a spray wax but I agree that opticoat would be less maintenance unless you like waxing once a month.

I'll look into opticoat then! Thanks

i likes :) but that PC should be able to withstand anything you drive through as long as you clean it up afterwards.. but opticoat sure wouldnt hurt

Really?

That stuff is oil goo.
