Tried 845, Got Poor Results

Give FK1000p a try and see if you like it better. I had no issues with application, removal or the look it gave.
 
Apply thin, leave on for an hour, buff off.

It's possible that something existing on the paint didn't work well with it since it wasn't stripped but I doubt that. I believe you applied it to heavy and then buffed it off before it was completely hazed.
 
I have applied this to two cars now, and both times I felt I struggled with applying it thinly enough. I'm sure I used too much, but with that said, removal was still easy so maybe I used the right amount. I'm not letting it sit for an hour though, more like I do the whole vehicle, go in and get something to drink, then start removal. It has definitely "hazed" by that point, maybe 30-40 minutes from when I started.

It was tough to judge the shine as I put it on top of WG3.0 sealant (after 12 hours of course).
