Finished with a lite correction... well more of a paint tune up.
Griot's 6" Random Polisher
Lake Country CCS 6.5 Super Soft Gold Jewelling Foam Pads
HD Polish
Cobra Gold Plush Microfibers
Bouncer's Vanilla Ice Wax
Did a full correction last September and with careful 2 bucket washes the finish still looked nice. But to test the Vanilla Ice I wanted a perfect (as I could get) canvas.
I did 3 passes with the Gold Pad at speed 5. The gold pad has zero cut so only the super fine nano abrasives in the HD Polish did the cutting. Wiped off the residue, reloaded the pad and did 3 passes at speed 3. This brought it to a higher level than I've worked the paint since owning the truck.
The wax is very soft in the container and just an easy swipe with a foam applicator loaded the pad. The Vanilla Ice went on very easy trying to keep it as thin as possible and it removed just as easy. The wax has an oily feel which helps it spread nice and even. It was a pleasure to use and smells of vanilla, coconut and lemon.
Final thoughts...
I was expecting a lot from a $79 wax and I was not disappointing. This easy to use WOWO wax leaves a rich wet look. Corey threw in a quality microfiber towel & foam applicator to sweeten the deal, oh yeah and free Priority Mail 3 day shipping also. They say durability 4-6 Months, but I usually wax every other month so I'm not much concerned there. It's a great wax IMO hopefully the pot will last for the 75 applications. That's just a dollar and a few pennies per application.
