Finished with a lite correction... well more of a paint tune up.

Griot's 6" Random Polisher
Lake Country CCS 6.5 Super Soft Gold Jewelling Foam Pads
HD Polish
Cobra Gold Plush Microfibers
Bouncer's Vanilla Ice Wax

Did a full correction last September and with careful 2 bucket washes the finish still looked nice. But to test the Vanilla Ice I wanted a perfect (as I could get) canvas.

I did 3 passes with the Gold Pad at speed 5. The gold pad has zero cut so only the super fine nano abrasives in the HD Polish did the cutting. Wiped off the residue, reloaded the pad and did 3 passes at speed 3. This brought it to a higher level than I've worked the paint since owning the truck.

The wax is very soft in the container and just an easy swipe with a foam applicator loaded the pad. The Vanilla Ice went on very easy trying to keep it as thin as possible and it removed just as easy. The wax has an oily feel which helps it spread nice and even. It was a pleasure to use and smells of vanilla, coconut and lemon.

Final thoughts...

I was expecting a lot from a $79 wax and I was not disappointing. This easy to use WOWO wax leaves a rich wet look. Corey threw in a quality microfiber towel & foam applicator to sweeten the deal, oh yeah and free Priority Mail 3 day shipping also. They say durability 4-6 Months, but I usually wax every other month so I'm not much concerned there. It's a great wax IMO hopefully the pot will last for the 75 applications. That's just a dollar and a few pennies per application.

Very nice results, almost looks like it still wet!
Even if you wax it once a month the pot will last over 6 years
(now that's cheap therapy)

I can't tell which I would love more, the truck, or the garage....looks like I would have a love triangle on my hands. Nice work on both. :goodjob2:

I'm not sure what it looks like cuz I cant stop lookin at that sweet garage!

Very nice job. Beautiful finish, looks great. What is HD polish? I can't wait to try my Vanilla Ice. I'm waiting for weather to cooperate for me.

Oh yea, what a sweet garage. Nice place to work. :xyxthumbs:

Looks awesome! It just had to be a redChevy! I have a 2010 red Chevy truck as well! Now I gotta have it!!!!

Thanks. HD Polish is a very fine finishing polish like Menzerna Super Finish (SF 4500) but just a titch finer IMO. Can't link but a simple google search should give you more info.

It looks great and so does the garage!

Truck looks great and not much you can do to it for a month or more to make it look better. Talk about a garage...man....nice, nice, nice. What's next polish all the black tiles to a mirror finish to top it off.....maybe mirror's on the ceiling and a stripper pole. what is that garage missing???

What the hell?!?!? Sweet Garage!

Thanks

Looks great! Is that your home garage?

Yes it's my home garage I built in 89

It looks great and so does the garage!

Thanx Bunky!

Beautiful work! Garage is amazing as well!

Appreciate the fast shipping Corey... I ordered about 3:00 am and had a shipping # 15 min later, do you ever sleep lol.

what is that garage missing???

I could use some paint on the bedroom walls (for when I'm in the doghouse lol)

Got a mini kitchen behind the bar (when I'm really in the doghouse). Toaster oven, microwave, blender, crock pot, mini fridge full of beer, pantry stocked with food... until I'm made to come back into the house :( :bat:

The most important thing is staying in good shape lifting weights, riding the spin cycle etc. It keeps me quick on my feet so I can bob & weave when the old lady starts throwing random objects
