Your paint must have been in some pretty rough shape if you needed to use PowerGloss. That stuff is REALLY abrasive. One of my friends recently referred to it as "liquid sandpaper" because he burned through the paint of his car with it using his PC.

it was really in bad shape, thats why i dont think the xmt line worked to well.but the pg brought it back to life.

Yup, heard as well that PowerGloss on the PC will be almost like your using a rotary, can burn right through clear coat. I don't now how abbrassive it is (never used it) but damn if it can do that w/o the heat that a PC can't make (unlike rotary), that's some strong stuff.

Your paint looks great through

Looks like it finished out beautifully....I think I'm going to order a 32oz bottle of PO106FF next week....Have been wanting to try it.

Your paint looks excellent, nice work!!:applause::applause:

thanks yall the whole car looks like that now.its a shame that its gonna rain for 2 straight days in md. though.ill get more pic,s when the sun comes back out.Im the MAN

Menzerna is the only product I am going to use once I finish out the various lines I purchased from AG to try. While I agree that most of the products AG sells to do the work, Menzerna does it better. I also like the fact that Menzerna FP II contains little to no fillers/hiders, which is something some other brands need to look at.

Oh, PowerGloss is some very aggressive stuff. I can remove 2500 grit sanding marks in black paint using PG and a yellow pad on my PC. It takes a few passes, but they are completely removed. PG with a rotary is an operation I won't try without extreme care.

Mezerna does make some of the best polishes made. That said ... it is clear that no time soon will they be offered as they are reducing their US distributors. As such we need to look for other ways and products than can and will produce the same outcome. I have found XMT and SSR's to be rather closed when used properly.

I use menzerna products regularly, work great, the pg is basically a compound and apparently they say it shoud or could finish like a final polish, I never go that lucky with it, how did it work for you?
