I know that Black Wow is good for black plastic trim , but what about the grey and charcoal colored trim . I need something to put on the step plates of running boards that is not slick or greasy .

What about PB Trim Restore. No personal experience but maybe another autogeek regular can give an opinion.

Pat.

Something New (Maker of Black Again) and Poorboys Trim Restorer work well on greys.

I hear great things bout PB Trim Restorer. I think Im goin to try some my next order.

PB trim restorer is an awesome product on black or grey. I have had great results (appearance and durability).

How long will PB last? More than a few washes or just one?

3-4 coats will last more than a month on its own. A quick refresher coat after every other wash or every 2 weeks, it'll last a very long time. It's just the initial application that'll take more than one coat. If the trim is really bad it'll get absorbed into the plastic very fast and it won't look that great. If that were to happen, don't worry and keep adding coats until you are satisfied.

Here is an example that I did last year:

Very nice, thank you. Love how the water beads in the last picture.

Great pics, budman. I've had great results with PB Trim Restorer...it's been one of my favorite trim products for quite some time.

I had heard people complaining about Mothers Back to Black if it takes 3 to 4 coats to last a few months since it is not that much better.

The "Black Wow" labeling says that it is effective on all unpainted plastic trim regardless of color.
