Bought new car, enjoying it as a chance to "start fresh" and maintain "perfect" as best as I can.

I've already applied 303 to the black plastic trim pieces, and M20 to the chrome trim pieces. I've also applied M20 to the black wheel wells. I did a spot test, waited a week, made sure it didn't look white and chalky or anything bad and then did the rest of them.

Reading the thread on restoring black trim, I found and then read the reviews of the Wolfgang ETS and UTTG products.

What I'm wondering from the brain-trust here is this: To prevent awful fade and general nastiness in my trim, is 303 good enough if applied a couple times a month? Or do I need a dedicated sealant for the trim?

303 applied monthly will keep interior pieces looking great even after 10-15 years.

For exterior trim, I would definitely go with a sealant or nano coating. I really like Gtechniq C4 and Cquarts for exterior trim pieces.

I love 303, and while it's not the most durable thing on the block, if you're keeping it clean, and doing it every 2~3 weeks I'll bet you'll not have any problems with it. (At least it's not Armor All!!!!)
