Trim stain?

I was detailing a Mercedes C300 today that has some strange staining on some interior parts. The client says that it was serviced at a dealership and she got it back like this. Does anyone have any idea what this is?

it look like water residue stain that remove the dressing try cleaning the area with a cleaner then apply three or four coats of dressing ...good luck
 
I've tried all of that. This is the first problem I have had removing staining on interior parts. It looks as if something ate the plastic.

Looks like some one sprayed a chemical in that.

Did she not say anything to the dealership about this issue? If it wasn't in the condition prior to service and it came back like that I would think the service shops needs to take responsibility for that.
 
I am not sure if she told the dealership to fix it or not. She didn't seem too worried about it, but it is bugging the crap out of me.
