Trying not to buy any more wax.

I'm in Roxboro, NC. I'd love to trade you something in my stash for whatever's left of your Spirit. I've got Rain Forest Rub, Dodo Juice Rubbish Boys Juiced Edition, Orange Crush, Diamond White, maybe some other stuff I can't think of.

i just got mine during the recent sale. its just about new. i did use it to do my wife's car. there is a bit of a learning to curve to it just like was mentioned before.

after using it, it does make an impact. i applied it over WGDGPS. even my wife noticed the difference it made, and never usually notices that kind of thing. i still like the so1nc Carnaubavore a little more

here is a pic of my wife's car after it was all done

Pass on the Spirit, Pete's is better and Less $$

Your in the same boat as a lot of people here on AG with the bug for new waxes, spray detailer etc. Its hard to get the AG monkey off your back :)

You enjoy what your doing that's all that matters...

I like Pete's 53 myself, easy on easy off.

If I'm understanding you correctly you came to Autogeek to help with your wax addiction? ....  ...

Ops, sorry, my sensitivity training has expired and I must renew it... ;)

Do you have BF Midnight Sun?

I have a ton of different waxes, and this wax is very impressive. Don't take my word for it, try and find someone who said it was just "blah" or gave it a bad review.

I went from Swissvax Best of Show ($$$$) to Midnight Sun and MS is just better in all respects. So, if you have the itch to try something new (assuming you haven't tried MS) - I'd go with MS.

Collinite 915 is another that is universally loved and well reviewed.

I need to try the 915, what's the major difference between it and the 845?

Thanks ,

Kevin

I've been using 915 on black metallic BMW. Nice shine. Do one panel at a time, though. Once it really dries can be hard to buff off. I've a bottle of 845 that hasn't been used yet. That's next.

How do you folks store your waxes? I usually keep in sealable plastic bags.

Try a coating instead! I'd be willing to bet you probably won't bother with wax again. :-)

I get told that often but I just love waxing my cars once I have spoiled the
Collinite 845.

Nothing like waxing with a carnuba.
However I just bought a brand new car in April and added graphics to it ad was told a coat would really do justice not only for the paint but also my new graphics.

I keep all of my products in my work shop which I keep the temperature about 70 degrees year round.

I'm still buying waxes and my car is coated! Lol However, not the super expensive ones though.

I got a wax coming in from HD, some more Meguiars Ultimate Paste Wax. Now I will have 2 cans of Megs UPW lol (1 for wheels and the other for paint) ;)

I am debating on getting a more WOWA wax. So far I am debating between Reload and Opti Seal. I am looking for more bang for the buck plus added gloss. This will be for customer cars since my car is Opti Coated. (I think Reload is a WOWA)

I have 476s designated for wheels to, but want to get 845 (just cos) :D

I have Menzerna PL and CL, plus some Mothers LSP's that were donated to me.

Have some Meguiars Synyetic Express Spray Wax. To top my Opti Coat and to do Wipedowns after applying LSPs.

I try not to buy waxes anymore too lol

Bobby G., So true.

It's like give people at an AA meeting vodka instead of coffee for beverages.
This place it the automotive OCD capital.
