Trying to decide on a good Soap to purchase...

Here's a recent similar thread:

Here's a chart from that thread I made just for reference (if prices have changed, my apologies):

I am currently using Shampoo Plus, and it is a good soap. Nothing special - but it has plenty of lubs and works just fine.

Remember - suds aren't really what is important in a car wash soap, it's the amount of lubrication you have. You want the slickest thing to wipe over the surface of your vehicle that will pull dirt with it.

Nice work! I need to update my spreadsheet to make it easier for others to understand. Currently it has too many added columns like "price per application" (since some of the products use less oz. per app.) Anyway it has become too cumbersome for sharing easily and I need to spend some time to make it look as good as what you have shared here. I wish AG would let us upload .xls files somewhere. I if that was possible then I could upload the full width of my sheet without having to edit it to get it on here.

Thanks again for sharing DLB - Looks great!

Thanks for all the responses everyone. I decided to go with Optimum's soap for now. Will see how it works :xyxthumbs:

Good choice, I wanna try it now too. To bad I just made an order today. I guess I have to get another list together for my addiction. I am trying to work on a spreadsheet for all the carnauba waxes autogeek sells. It will take a while since it is competing with school work but I will try to post soon. Maybe we should make a new thread for all this spreadsheet talk?

I hear ya man. I need to order some more polish and pads. Would like to get some Tire/Wheel cleaner and a Speed Brush. Money is to limited for this hobby!
