I never used it for one but from what I understand, it is not like a regular dressing but rather a coat...
I would not use a dressing such as Opti, and I don't know if it would even bond/stick because of the coat that is on, if you want to renew the coat I would top it with itself, Tuf Shine Clear coat
I've used it on two sets of tires and like it. You usually just reapply when you want to add more shine. It's great if u hate having to scrub tires every wash. The key is to make sure the tire is clean before you apply the clear coat otherwise it won't come out good. It's best to have two of the tuf shine brushes. Use one with an APC to start the cleaning. Then use the 2nd with the Tuf Shine tire cleaner to finish. It's a lot of initial work but saves lots of time there after.
Love it. As stated proper prep is key. Tires are still looking "just dressed" after 3 months now on all 3 vehicles. I simply wipe clean with UWW+ for maintenance. I used Zep Fast 505 for prep, washed tires 4 times each or until no brown coming off. If I do end up needing to "top" it down the road I will be using more Tuff Shine.
