just curious if anyone tried it yet. new from tw. clear liquid. can be used in direct sunlight.

I have tried it on my brothers car and it does give a nice shine and smooth surface. I do not want to use it on my own car even though it gives a glossy finish and a slick surface something seems off/fishy about it to me but that can be my own mind playing tricks. The finish feels slick but I know I have not clayed or cleansed the paint only did a wash so I think contaminants/debris is being trapped between the paint and the product. I applied it in my closed garage and I can smell fumes from it like petrol/gasoline so I stopped and checked the label and it does say it is flammable. The product and package does say you can apply it in direct sunlight. The directios say to apply it and let it haze (3-5 min) but I do not see a haze and is still clear and wet even after letting it sit for 10 minutes. To be honest if my brother likes it (he is VERY lazy when time comes to clean his car) he can use it but I prefer my own method by claying/cleaning, polishing and waxing. Just my two cents  .

Has anyone else here tried ICE and have any input on this product?

thank's for the review. i am proabably going to get slammed, but i have been using formula113. with the companion product bead x. (a quik detailer/wax). i always get perfect results. it was detail week here! 7 hours on the ZR2. engine,interior,undercoated/painted frame/wheel wells,rain-x all glass and wash/wax. RUBICON took about 4.5 hours. same treatment. took this week off to get them done. i was curious about ICE,because it claims about the same as www.formula113.com ...thanks...

Last monday in the Chicago Sun-Times there was a article written about detailing cars and about our detailer were I work part time. In it he says that he likes Mothers and Meguiars products. Anyhow somebody at Turtle wax read the article and sent him a bottle of Turtle Ice to try out for free. He has not tried it yet, but he says he will, maybe on the bosses car.

for sure. that's spring for you. new wax's & products come out every spring. it's tempting to try them. unless your really sold on what your using now.
