Turtle Wax Tire Coat Warning

I can speak on first hand experience with the TW black tire coat, you all are correct, it's does make your tires look beautiful and leaves a non greasy shine. Mine started to turn brown from the inside out, and looked horrible, the last time I applied this stuff was maybe last august or September and it's just now getting to the point I can use bleche white and once dry I can rub it off with my finger, that's 6 months of being in the elements and just now being able to wear off!!

So would you recommend using it?

My neighbor always uses that brand.....my dad says that Turtle Wax is the cheapest brand you can get

If you can a produce called whitewall cleaner by a company called Transmate, it would come right off. It's what I use on all tires and it cost about 35$ for 5 gallons and is dilute able up to 6:1. I use it to clean all tires and have been using it for years. It's how to get tires perfectly clean everytime.

That will not work on this product. It is an aerosolized rubber kind of like plastic dip but glossy. Chemical stripping does not work, you will need manual agitation and a lot of it to abrade this off.

Perhaps it was something else other than the turtle wax that it removed then. Thanks

Was it the spray or the kit that you used?
You said they turned brown inside out?

I hope you cleaned them really, really good.
When I did mine I cleaned them 3-4 times until I saw only white suds, I let them dry to inspect , they looked faded yes but super clean, cleaning the tires is the most important step in using any coating as I'm sure you know.
