this job was from a few weeks back whem i was down south
the owner wanted a full detail on the tvr as he was getting it transported over to his other home in spain
this is one of the pics before i started
TVRtuscan004.jpg

so first up was to rinse the TVR then spray with the citrus
TVRtuscan007.jpg

after the citrus was spayed over the car the foam was then sprayed on top
TVRtuscan008.jpg

TVRtuscan016.jpg

then the foam was left for 5mins then rinsed off
to dry the car off i used the sonus der wunder towel with the meg`s last touch
once the car was dry i took a closer look at the paint work
there was some stonechips that where touched up by the owner so i had to wetsand them 1st and there was the SWIRLS
TVRtuscan012.jpg

TVRtuscan015.jpg

So before i started wetsanding and paint work corection i took the the paint thickness on all pannels
for the wetsanding i used the meg`s unigrit 2500
then i went over the whole car with menzerna PG with a meg`s cutting pad on the makita
after the PG i went for the IP with the 3m polishing pad on the makita to lift the colour back
then the next stage was the finishing polish on a 3m finishing pad once again on the makita
once i was happy with the paint work (see below)
TVRtuscan042.jpg

TVRtuscan043.jpg

the next stage was to treat the paint work to zymol HD cleanse

god i love the curves on this TVR
so the next stage was to take the zymol vintage and apply it thinnly over the paint work with my hands
the wheels were polished with menz FP and the HD cleansed the waxed using zymol vintage and the tyres were treated with a drop of meg`s
TVRtuscan032.jpg

the windows were polished with the zymol hd cleanse
all door shuts were cleaned out and the leather was treated to using gliptone
the rear cans were polished up

at the end of the detail the client was well happy with the job and booked in his new range rover sport supercharger and asked if i would top up the TVR out in spain :D better get a pair of shade out then

Very nice vehicle and an incredable detail, I must agree with you. That vehicle has some wicked curves :righton:

You did an incdredable job, quick question, got any pictures of the interior? Just wondering.

Thank you for sharing....oh and by the way with a job like that you having the owner want you to detail his other vehicles is the best compliment ever :righton:

Stunning body lines and curves...and I personally like the color.

Super job on the car Sir! Thanks for sharing the results

Toto

I love TVRS, their like the Euro version of our Viper, just a brutal machine with no gizmos. That Russian guy sold the company to I think two Floridians if I remember last year, their trying to bring TVR to the U.S. That 4L inline 6 is a wicked engine :righton:

I was waiting for Surfer top pop in and provide some dirt on the vehicle :D

Always enjoy hearing what you have to say about a vehicle.

They are awsome, the older ones were kit-carish, the newer ones are pretty solid and friggen brutal. TVR is owned by two Florida businessmen now who are trying to bring the models full on here in America, I would defintley buy one.

Travolta's TVR in Swordfish was sharp.

Are you sure that's from a few weeks ago? I could have sworn I saw this detail and the pics (and the Spain story) months and months ago.

Were did you get that light I keep seeing in all you posts and how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking. And amazing job on the car, and on all your details, hopefully one day I get to that point.

It was on the other board a while back, but i dont think its been all that long.. Maybe 6 or 8 weeks?? But yeah I remember the spain story too.

Either way.. Its great work :righton:. Although I'm not all that fond of the car or the color. At least when it comes to looks.

Awesome work Extreme !! Talk about eye candy!! Does it taste like grape?? j/k

If you used a device to measure the thickness of the clear coat, how much did you take off? I'm thinking of getting a PosiTector 200 but it's expensive.

Awesome work.

Sincerely Daniel
