first car i ever washed by myself. 1960 ford fairlane used the best stuff tide, a white cloth and probably a dirty towel to dry. waxed with simonize which i let dry totally. 2 days of an eleven year olds labor and got ...... wait...... $5. my own father screwed me.

Yeah claying seems to just pick up dirt and contamination.
