tyre and trim dressing

For my wash & wax package I also apply tyre dressing, and if it's really bad, also some to the trim as it can help the overall finishing look. But I'm looking for a good, but cheap(er) dressing.
So what are some good suggestions? In my mind I have the all season dressing from Megs, but any other suggestions and dilutions?
 
whats the big difference with the all season?

You can use different dilutions with Hyperdressing
 
won't the silicone based one last longer? but is it good for the tyres? i heard it dries out the rubber
 
Someone was talking about how cg vrp was great on tires. I had a bottle that I got a long time ago and used on trim, but I wasn't impressed with the results. Most likely because I didn't properly prep the trim but that's a different story. I was using auto finesse satin for some time and was really disappointed with its durability so I decided to try vrp based on the suggestion and I'm liking what I see. I only applied one coat and it's been lasting longer than the satin did and shine is still there. I need more time with it but it looks like a winner
 
Chemical Guys VRP, water based, works really well and holds up, it's all I use.
Great price too, when the bottle goes down half way fill it up with water and you'll then have a full bottle and not notice any difference.
Worth a shot for the price.
 
That's right, the tires must be super clean but that goes for any dressing your applying.

It's really a great dressing for tires, trim and interior.
 
I'm just an enthusiast but I like Meg's tire & trim gel that I use on my tires. Lasts about a month. For trim I use Meg's vinyl & plastic coating. I just used it on my dads car and its been about 3 weeks and it still looks good.
 
I use megs hyper dressing 1:1 for tires, fender wells.

For trim, Opti-Bond tire gel from Optimum. Gives a nice satin look but not overly shiny for trim.
 
I totally agree.
I can't say enough good things about CG's VRP, I tried many over the years but now found something that works and works really well.
Not only is the price good but a little goes a very long way.
Last week I wanted to remove the VRP from my tires using APC, after a few sprays on the APC and scrubbing I still saw water beading and still had a shine, the tires were still dark black, add the low cost and it tells you it's a great deal.

thanks all. I'll be checking the cg stuff for sure, as I was planning on buying the V7 for topping the wax to as it's easy to apply.
 
Another vote for hyper dressing. Using it 3:1 for dashboards and rubber trim. Leaves a nice satin finish to keep glare down, smells great and a little really goes a LONG way.
 
My favorite is CarPro Perl mixed 1-1 - leaves a luster finish
Optimum Opti Bond for a shinier look

I use Megs Hyper Dressing on tires and the All Season Dressing on the trim. I have not tried many other dressings but I have been happy with this combo. I also mix a little hyper dressing in with APC+ for interior wipe downs.
