Uber on trim

I read that uber can be applied to exterior trim. I also ordered some solution finish. Does uber darken the black trim and last longer than solution or am i better off using solution on rubber and plastic? The car is a subaru outback.

Doesn't darken the plastic much. I applied it up my wife's new Forester plastic trim. Holding up well, but do t expect Ubr ceramic to restore faded trim.
