Just got word from David that this machine will be shipping out to us next week, the week of the 18th. But as a precaution I would safely say with logistics you will see it at the end of the month! ;)
We are currently working on getting this machine up and on the site and available for pre-sale. You will see it within a couple of days.
I appreciate everyone's patience, as with any large transaction there are always a few hurdles to climb. :o But I promise you will all be very happy when you wrap your hands around this machine.:applause:

We will have it offered with a nice pad package! :righton:

Sweet! I'm sure everyone will be extremely pleased when they get their hands on this machine, I know I am!

It must be some machine if all you have to do wrap you hands around it to feel happy. It that a documented feature?

Wondering which pads to use on the UDM, it comes with a 6" backing plate. Any ideas?

the edge pad system and lc ccs pads are what a lot of the testers have been using...

Whoo Hoo!!! Too bad it won't be here sooner. I just got hooked up with a client who has some very very impressive vehicles that I'm going to start detailing this weekend. A Mercedes S65 and a 722 SLR are first on the list. Those would be nice pics to have the UDM sitting on. ;) All in good time though. I'll be going back to do the Ferrari and Lambo at a later date. Those won't be too shabby to get the UDM near either. :)

so what's better, Edge of LC... im a cyclo user but UDM is on my list indefinately. so fill me in please!!!

No one is really better than the other. Its just a matter of preference. I like using the edge pads because they are quickly changeable do to the Edge adapter, dual sided, and always on center. LC pads use a Velcro backing plate, quickly changeable, and are one-sided. I do keep to LC backing plates and pads as backups.

both pad systems are great...i think (and remember this is just my opinion from my experiences) LC CCS foam is superior...but the trade off is i use a rotary and they are a pain to center....the edge foam is quite good...not as good as LC but close...the trade off is no backing plate to damage paint...self centering...and when the pads gum up just flip it over...so it boils down to user preference....i think on a pc i would give the nod to lc pads...on a rotary the edge pads win....

great, thanks for the help. hate rotary's, so LC is my brand!!

Foam is foam, but you can't beat the Edge 2000 system. Being able to have a double sided pad that the velcro will never come off of and the backing plate will never grind a spoiler or a scoop.... I just can't put a price on that. I still hang on to my velcro pads since they are a lot more low profile than the Edge 2000, but for 95% of the polishing I do I will use the Edge system. I get ten times as much use out of these pads as I do from hook and loop pads.
